KP888 Vacuum Bag Sealant is designed to withstand extreme temperature and resist flow under high pressure. The product is formulated with unique silicone base and high reinforcing and thermally stable fiber to withstand the harshest vacuum bag cycle. KP888 vacuum bag sealant tape available in the market with excellent tack and tenacious bond to Kapton film after cure. It is used in conjunction with polyimide film to give positive seal during the fabrication of composites and bullet proof glass at extreme heat cycles. KP888 tape distinguishes itself with its outstanding performance in autoclave applications by tenaciously bonding to high temperature resistance films and its clean release from tool surfaces without residue. This is accomplished over a broad temperature range of 340℉ (171℃) to 800℉ (426℃). This tape is also suitable for mid-range temperatures for extended period of time.
